On February 27, 2022, the Florida Chamber Orchestra presents the passion in the best of classical and popular tango music, an international genre that is passionate about its interpretation. It also joins the world in a tribute to the music of Argentine composer and virtuoso bandoneonist Astor Piazzolla with a compilation of some of his 3,000 original compositions.
From Gardel to Piazzola, with the interpretation of the renowned Le Grand Tango, where Piazzola expresses the spirit of the “new tango”. This concert will highlight FCO’s goal of promoting a common identity for South Florida and speaking the language of music. In teaching this language, FCO is interested in cultivating new audiences, and nothing better than the Tango to introduce the new generations to music.
